           My grandson and I used to spend time at the children’s section of the main library. We played snakes and ladders. And for variety went up the snakes and down the ladders! His agile imagination could handle that.
           The highs and lows of Paul’s Philippian imprisonment turned his world upside down. Just as the early Christian faith could turn a Roman empire inside out. And John’s Jesus could be the bread of life if you realized that after eating it, your life would never be ordinary again.
