Expression of Interest
Knox-Metropolitan United Church (KMUC) Regina SK, Canada is inviting proposals to facilitate a future planning process for the congregation.
Like many congregations, Knox-Metropolitan is positioning itself to respond to a number of changes in demographics, information technology and societal trends that are impacting our congregation and the community. During the last several years, the City of Regina has undergone tremendous growth and our downtown church is seeking to refresh our path forward to respond to this growth. In consideration of these changes, the Board of KMUC is searching for a facilitator who would support Knox-Metropolitan congregation through a future planning process. Interested facilitators must have pertinent experience working with congregations and faith communities. In particular, facilitators must have a good understanding of group dynamics, a track record of helping congregations through a strategic planning process and utilizing the plan as a catalyst to encourage and develop insight, vision and growth plans for the congregation. Lastly, the facilitator must demonstrate a clear process to engage the entire congregation in the planning process, draw clarity on how the strategy can be implemented and create a framework for an ongoing congregational growth dialogue. In summary KMUC is seeking support to create our path forward to fulfill our Christian calling as a church community.
